The Invictus Games is an international event, in which wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel and their associated veterans take part in a multi-sport, paralympic-style competition. At the last Invictus event, approximately 300 competitors from 13 nations participated.

Luke competed in the very first Invictus Games back in 2014, in London. He managed to secure an impressive gold medal for the 1500m race; here you'll see him posing for a picture with said medal alongside president of the organising commitee, HRH Prince Harry.

The 2016 Invictus Games took place 8 – 12 May 2016 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. Luke has managed to retain his 1500m glory, winning GOLD in the race for the second time in a row now. He also competed in the 400m and won bronze.
